It’s actually quite easy to dock a bike in an A spot when both of the Bs are taken; l do it multiple times every day and always show others when l see someone struggling. Here’s a hopefully helpful explanation.
Line your bike up straight in front of the dock;
Lift your bike by the handlebars so they rest on the neighbors’ handlebars;
Once it’s resting there, lift up your bike by the seat and glide it forward and down into the dock.
