BikeAngels who had totals in excess of 5,000 points after the rewards system changed should be eligible to “re-accumulate” necessary point thresholds from the point in time the new program started.
Ex: an Angel with 6,000 points when the new reward program started would get the 250 award at 6,250 points.
It should be fairly straightforward to adjust your threshold triggers to do this, presuming you have some sort of relational database available to query. This adjustment would enable your most committed participants to enjoy the same rewards as everyone else— rather than forcing them to create new accounts if they wanted such rewards.
