Guide to Valets

Stations in need of extra attention will sometimes have a valet present. A valet is bikeshare employee that helps retrieve bikes when a station is overloaded or busy. Valets help riders get to their destination without worrying about the fullness at their chosen stations, which is particularly useful at commuting stations or special events. 

How do I know if there’s a valet?

You’ll see a person icon on the station marker on the map. This means there is a valet at that station. If the station is offering Bike Angels points, that will show as normal. 

How does a valet affect Bike Angels?

Bike Angels can pick up at a Valet station, but the ride must start at a dock. Valet reps can’t manually start rides with undocked bikes. All the same BA rules apply to rides that start or end at a Valet station.
