Cranksgiving 2021!

Hey there Bike Angels!

It's almost time for the best ride of the year: CRANKSGIVING! If you haven't joined before, this is a food drive on two wheels. Founded by NYC bike messengers in 1999 as an alleycat race for a good cause, Cranksgiving has grown to 112 cities nationwide. Each Cranksgiving is organized independently in partnership with local community organizations and is a great opportunity to help fight food insecurity, give back, ride a bike, and maybe earn a few points while you're at it!

The upcoming rides are November 20 in Manhattan, November 21 in Queens*, and December 4 in Jersey City. Props to anyone who attended the Brooklyn event earlier this month.

 

*The Queens ride is outside of the Citi Bike service area, but may interest folks who have their own bikes.
