Did anyone lose a bike key last night (August 13th) in Manhattan...or know of someone else who did? Spread the word and let me know if you hear anything. Details such as the number of the citibike key and what other items were on the key ring would help to verify the owner's identity. Thank you.Leslie5211 days agoSteady Solver33Views0likes2CommentsNYC Proof of age coming?
Press in NYC is reporting today that the city will require Lyft to limit bike rentals (I assume pedal assist) to those 16 and older. I guess there has been a growing rate of a accidents involving those below 16. I am 6FT, 190, and can handle the bike in various situations, but I would think the very heavy bikes can be dangerous with those younger/smaller/lighter esp if not obeying bike rules. Anyway this seems hard to enforce? Which brings up anther question. How are minors under 16 getting access to these bikes? Dont you need a credit card, or some recurring payment method? Do they get via special city programs?Gaffano14 days agoCasual Commenter24Views0likes0CommentsLess Bike Angels in NYC these Days?
In my area last summer/fall I used to see a handful of the same Bike Angels moving bikes around all day. Since the Spring I don't see them anymore. Saw one yesterday and he said he stopped since cash incentive went down. He said him and the others were doing it as a living. I also noticed that the bike movement in my area has gotten stale. I just move bikes to subsidize electric bike costs. Interested to know if the bike movement has stayed the same or gotten worse (my observation) since this award policy change? I would Lyft is losing money since they have to hire more company people to move the bikes now. Thanks!Gaffano2 months agoCasual Commenter95Views0likes3Commentschicago end of year finishes
how did my fellow chicago riders finish in the 2024 recap? I was excited to move into the top 5% for the yearhud4 months agoResourceful Rider60Views1like2CommentsFirst second and third place rewards?
I was in first place for bluebikes this month and expectedly earned $750 + $100 =$850.00. I spoke with the third place person who said she only made $300 and was expecting $350 for third place (AW708). Is only the top point getter for the month getting extra money? I thought it was top 3 received $100, $75, $50.SM9704 months agoCasual Commenter119Views0likes1CommentBike Angels Motivation?
I just do Bike Angels to get points to pay for expensive e-bike minutes and extend membership. I dont go to much out of my way to get points. I also work so dont have much time to devote. Seems many here might be doing this for income. Seems you need to put in the time but good workout and you are your own boss. Gig economy. Curious, what's your motivation?Gaffano4 months agoCasual Commenter131Views1like3CommentsHow are people accumulating so many points?!
Iβm just wondering how some angels are amassing soooo many points. Iβm in awe! I thought I was doing a lot when I hit 450 points last month but I see some are doing that in one day. How?!? also seems like a bike angels ride/meet up could be fun πSolvedJhill4 months agoResourceful Rider968Views1like12CommentsAm I initiated?!?!

Hi! I first learned to ride a bike in middle school, but I forgot how to.π I recently got back into biking and ran some errands while doing Angels runs (got 13 points π). These were some of my first independent road biking trips, and I had so much fun : )Solvedweeviler5 months agoCasual Commenter40Views1like2CommentsCiti Explorers
