Scratched/Burned out bike QR codes and numbers

Hi all, 

 

since becoming a frequent Citi bike rider I have noticed that QR codes will be scratched out/burned off. Sometimes I walk quite a while to go to a location of an e bike and it’s really a poor experience to learn that you cannot unlock the bike and that the wrench button does not work. Chatting in with the help option does nothing. If we could just have someone give us the bike number that would help.

    Someone has said they were able to get chat support to give them the bike number this past week. I am not sure why he was able to get that when so many of us have trouble. JUST PUT THE FULL NUMBER BACK IN THE APP!!! FFS it is so simple.

    As of today, it appears full bike numbers are back in-app. Let's hope Lyft/Citibike learned their lesson.
