Bike angel points disappear from app

Bike angel points disappear from app (Bay Wheels Android app) when there's a network connectivity problem:

• on wifi
• go out of range of the wifi
• the app will say network problems, and bike stations disappear
• after a minute, it reconnects to cell network and bike stations come back
• bike angel point indicators do not come back

I have to close and reopen the app to resolve.  This happens very consistently.
