Agreed, this should be an option especially since Citibike started with this “low assist” nonsense… I’m quite sure they realize the ebikes are substantially heavier than classic bikes so it’s in fact WORSE having an e-bike (with essentially NO assist), especially since they are speed restricted to speeds less than a classic can reach. SMH.
