Lost Access to Low-Charge Bikes After Joining BA – Anyone Else?
Hey everyone, I have the annual membership and it was working perfectly fine for me so far. Yesterday, I clicked on the Bike Angels program in my app and right after that, my app stopped showing low-charge bikes (green gift box) and charging station icons (green electricity). Now I only see white and black arrows for points, which I don't want. Everything worked fine before I signed up for BA and was able to earn E-bike min by moving low charged bikes and complete any rides. Customer service wasn’t helpful, and I can’t find a way to un-enroll. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it? Thanks!7Views0likes0CommentsNYC New Option to Gain Points Moving ebikes?
My yearly Citibike membership expired Monday. While I was in expired mode, I no longer saw Bike Angel info (lifetime points, station point info, etc. ). I did see that there was an option to move low battery bikes to charging stations for 10 minute ebike riding credit. Never saw that before while my membership was active. I renewed my membership yesterday and no longer see this ebike moving opportunity. Is this just a program for non Bike Angels Citibike members? Thanks in advance for any guidance.106Views0likes4CommentsHave not received lifetime rewards
Hey Bike Angels team, I recently completed my first two lifetime achievements, Joy Rider and Casual Cruiser. I filled out the mailing forms for each, but unfortunately have not received my pins, or in the case of Casual Cruiser, water bottle. I received my Joy Rider on 8/2 and my Casual Cruiser on 8/23. Would someone on the Bike Angels team be able to look into this for me? tysm!Solved61Views0likes1CommentIdea: Buy Citi Bike Key using Bike Angel points
I'd like Citi Bike to offer the ability to purchase a new Bike Key using Bike Angel points. I'm aware that the bike angels lifetime award for 1,500 points (Steady Pedaler) includes a free Bike Key and there's a one-time offer to order a Bike Key for Citi Bike members using a discount code available at https://account.citibikenyc.com/profile but I've already exhausted both of these options and want to purchase another one. The motivation for this idea came after technical issues I'm currently facing when trying to order a new bike key at https://store.citibikenyc.com/products/citi-bike-key resulting in the error message "There was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method." even after trying 4 different credit and debit cards. I've submitted a separate support ticket for this issue. I'd suggest the price for a bike key to be 50 points given Lyft credit is $2.00 for 10 points and E-Bike credit is $2.50 for 10 points and a Bike Key costs $10 on the Citi Bike Store. Lastly, as a secondary comment: The turnaround time for bike key purchases is extraordinarily long for such a simple item (it can take several weeks to a few months based on my own experience and that of others) - I strongly urge Lyft to look for ways to decrease the processing and shipping times for bike key orders.24Views0likes0CommentsDo we have to rate every ride??
If I'm doing a bunch of short rides in a row to earn more Bike Angel points, it's annoying to be prompted to rate each ride before I can get back to the screen/map to start the next ride. Is there any way to bypass having to rate each ride? TIA293Views5likes21CommentsSecond 3x ride didn't count to reset the timer
Dear Bike Angels community, Yesterday I entered a 3x streak, took a bike home with 9 points, did another 6 point ride in the evening and was ready to get my last time in before the timer ends but the app showed "2 more rides to reset the timer" - is this expected, do the early 3x rides "expire" or something or is this a bug? In my ride history I see 3 rides with 3x points within the requested time limit, yet I'm back at 1x now. Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, PhilipSolved76Views0likes4CommentsA glitch in push notifications
I’ve noticed a small glitch in push notifications after finishing a ride. See the screenshot attached. I completed ride #1, earned 9 points and my bank showed as 836 points. A few minutes later I completed ride #2, again earned 9 points but my bank total increased by 18 points (854 - 836.) I again earned 9 points for ride #3 but my bank balance stayed at 854. l don’t consider it to be a big deal as the error always self-corrects after the next ride or two and, more importantly, the point bank in the app always shows the proper amount. Using the above, after ride #2 my bank total should be 845 points, which is what the app shows. So the error is the number showing in the push notification, not in the app itself. It happens maybe once a month or so. I’m posting it as an FYI for other BAs as well as anyone on the tech team who wants a project.15Views0likes0CommentsLost & Found
Did anyone lose a bike key last night (August 13th) in Manhattan...or know of someone else who did? Spread the word and let me know if you hear anything. Details such as the number of the citibike key and what other items were on the key ring would help to verify the owner's identity. Thank you.41Views0likes2Comments
