ride history does not remember where you were

In the "Ride history" of the Android Bay Wheels app, if you click into a ride to see details, then use the "back" button or motion on the phone to go back to the list of rides, the list goes back to the top of the list rather than go back to where you were.  This makes it very difficult when searching for a specific ride in your history.

Can this be made to remember where you were?
