what's up with the directions on the Citi Bike App??

Not an angel specific questions,,, but i was just plotting a ride for tomorrow- from Morningside Heights to DUMBO.
the citiBike app says that is a 20 minute ride (regular bike or e-Bike). Google says it will take me 55 minutes, which seems more probable.
I have never used the citibike directions before- is it always wildly off?
