π Specializing in the Community
Hi everyone!
My name is Omar, and I am a Senior Customer Experience Advocate here at Lyft. For those of you familiar with tech company structures, think of me as specialized Customer Support.
My entire job is helping riders (you all) out when an issue is a bit more complex. This could be issues like when a bunch of stations go down all at once, a software bug affecting multiple people through really specific circumstances, and overall long, complex issues that take longer to investigate and solve.
I'm here to help out Jess here in this wonderful community, so you'll be seeing me here a lot more often.
Some facts about myself:
- I am a big animal lover and had 3 cats in the past.
- I am a huge gaming nerd and will play anything from FPS to strategy to mystery etc. in my free time
- I have been with Lyft for roughly 2 years (come this Summer)
- Favorite music genres are EDM, Indie, and Alternative
- I helped out last year in the Communities in-between my normal work duties
I'm not online 24/7 on the site, so if I don't respond immediately, I am either on my day off or working magic behind the scenes to provide the best possible answer. I appreciate the honest feedback of our Bike Angels and aim to be an advocate for your voices behind the scenes.
