Re: Biketown 15 minute point calculation broken Any updates on this? Its still broken, and its a lot harder to earn points. Some new info that might help debugging: the new bikes NEVER get any points if you return them past a 15 minute calculation (i.e, "check out" bike 0..14 or 30..44) With old bikes: "check in" bike 15..29 or 45..59 gives you points. With new bikes: zero points when checking in at the same time. It works if you wait for next the next "ok" cycle (00&30). Biketown 15 minute point calculation broken Hi. I have submitted a bug directly to Lyft, but I just got a generic "bike angel 101" reply. Anyway, points are correctly shown on the map after the calculation on top of the hour and 30 past the hour. Points are NOT shown after the 15 & 45 minute calculation. Its simple to verify, just look for stations&bike after 00 and 30, then compare with what you see after 15&45. I have of course deleted&re-installed the app, and rebooted my iOS device, same thing. It might have happened after the "next gen" e-bikes&scooters were introduced this summer, but I was away at that time so can't say for sure if its related or not. Please escalate. Thanks SolvedBike statistics The Biketown app has (in your profile) a City Explorer which is interesting. I know it will be much more difficult to show stats for all the bikes in the system, but that info would also be very interesting to view. Info like how many bikes total, how many of them have you ridden, how many miles total. So if possible, please add something like that. Unless of course, that data is not meant for public display? (I'm guessing statistics like how many bikes have been vandalized/disappeared falls into that category) Thanks Biiketown coverage to the south? Technically not a bike angel question, but are there plans to expand the coverage of Biketown in Portland, OR? Currently Holgate/Foster is as south as the coverage gets, but the neighborhoods of Sellwood/Moreland to Brentwood-Darlington are all lovely, I would ride there all the time if it would be allowed, any reasons why the coverage has not been expanded even after being around for a couple of years? Thanks Re: Lyft app gets blank notifications I'm guessing engineering said "it works as intended" ? 🙂 On further examination, I think the Lyft app simply finds OLD rewards. When checking rewards, the oldest "A gift from Biketown" reward is now back in August of last year, so I'm guessing there is a limit on how many rewards the app/backend looks up for you. Re: Reporting bad bike became difficult Forgot to report, but the app started working a couple of weeks ago. Thanks! Re: Reporting bad bike became difficult ThanksJess However, there IS NO WRENCH on the Biketown stations! (or bikes) So we're back to the broken app. At least update the app to have a better selection of issues with bike, rode two bikes with flaky/missing assist, but like on the screenshots above that is not listed, and there is no way to a better description to the bike mechanic. Re: Reporting bad bike became difficult Hi Jess. The app eventually restored my Bike Angel points. I didn't do any rides in Chicago. I was however out today (in Portland), and this bike had zero assist (think it claimed it had 16 miles battery). When trying to report it, none of the choices seem like a good fit, so picked "Connectivity" (electronics). Once you click on "Request bike repair", you get to a screen where the Submit button is greyed out no matter what you do. (I did select an option and one star rating, although the screenshot doesn't reflect that). In order to submit a repair request, you have to go back to the "Ride history", and then you can request it. Re: Reporting bad bike became difficult Hi. I deleted and re-installed, but now the app has forgotten all my bike angel credit! I'm out of town, so can't test ride any bikes, but the above screenshot is in the "Ride History", then find the ride and the "Report Issue". If you try to report a bike issue at the end of a ride (where you previously could report problems), the app gets stuck and you can't submit anything. It will accept a rating of the ride, but no other issues. The screen looks the same as above there too though.
