I got paid? I thought tremendous was eliminated
For context I have been using Boston bluebikes for over 2 yrs and have been an angel since 2023. I was as shocked as anyone when the app changed on us last month in which even gift card options were seemingly removed. I was under the impression after this sudden change that I would not be getting paid anymore by bike angels even in terms of credits to Amazon or doordash. I interpreted the recent changes to mean that the points were useful towards ebike and long acoustic ride credits only. Much to my surprise however I received an email today with USD I was able to redeem via DoorDash. So is this for February rewards from before the app change or was this in error like we saw in December when we got paid for November 2023 rewards instead of 2024? Please clarify as I do not really understand the math. If there are points to be earned I thought points could be redeemed via the app in which points never expire not thru tremendous emails. Can you clarify?Solved150Views0likes5CommentsBeing asked to not log into multiple devices
Ok so I think I know how this happened and it’s not what Lyft/bluebikes may think. I went to nyc last month to citibike for a day and so I had downloaded the citibike app and was also unlocking citibikes from the Lyft app. FYI - all three apps are linked (bluebikes, Lyft and citibike) and when I bike in nyc it shows as an active session on my Bluebike app even though Boston is not part of Lyft Pink. I was not logging into another device but in order to download day pass I tried to log into my Lyft profile thru my safari so I guess bluebikes thinks I am sharing my riding with other members which I am not. I want to clarify because I don’t want my account to be deactivated as I have not committed any fraud whatsoever. I figure I would post here as maybe others have experienced biking in multiple cities where Lyft bike share is an option.Solved97Views0likes1CommentCash redemption not offered for January reward.
I just received my January '25 reward email from tremendous. On the redemption page it does not offer cash via PayPal or ACH. It only offers gift cards and charitable donations. This reward was earned before the system change. Shouldn't I still be able to redeem this award for cash since it was earned under the previous system? Anyone else experience this? Please help! #BlueBikes100Views0likes7CommentsA community for all Bike Angels
In 2021, we launched this community with less than 100 Bike Angels from NYC who ride with Citi Bike to understand how Angels would interact here and what we can learn from the community. Today, the community has grown to more than 1900 members, and we have Angels from outside NYC represented in the community. We’re pumped to share that we’re expanding the community to create a space where Bike Angels from cities across the U.S. can connect and find answers. Did you know there are about 50,000 Angels in NYC, but that's only 71% of all Angels? What’s changing? We’re inviting about 14,000 new Bike Angels to join in the conversation here. One thing to note: Angels from different cities have different experiences with their bikeshare system and the Bike Angels program. For instance, Bike Angels in Chicago can earn points for moving scooters, too! And, rewards offered differ by city—check out the links at the bottom of our homepage. When chatting, keep in mind that you may be replying to someone with a slightly different experience with their bikeshare system or the game. How can I help build the community? As founding members of the Bike Angels Community, you all have set the pace for how we’ll communicate here. New members may need some help along the way, and of course, we’ll make them feel welcome. If you spot duplicate threads or irrelevant replies, kindly steer members in the right direction to help keep the community productive and organized.269Views6likes0Comments
