Rewards for October

I went the entire month of November without receiving my October rewards. Today (12/3) I received a tremendous award of $3 for 'last month'.  I had 1,541 points in October and was entitled to a $146 reward. Anyone else have an issue like this?

Assuming you actually redeemed the points for rewards in the app (ex. 100 points for $10, 300 points for $50 and 1000 points for $200) then it seems like a bug on their end as I have no idea how to redeem just $3. But also how did you arrive at $146 of rewards if you can only redeem $10, $50 and $200?

This is for bluebikes in Massachusetts. Here, you accumulate points for the entire month. Then, they are automatically converted to a gift card ($1 for every 10 points) and sent via email the following month. Your first 80 points go towards extending your membership, a week for each 20 points. The system where you are must work differently.

Update: We have discovered that some payments have yet to be received and some are missing. We are working to correct this issue to get October Tremendous emails to Angels as quickly as possible. I apologize for the further delay. If you are missing rewards, please allow us a day or so to ensure you've received your full rewards amount.

Hey there, RP114thank you for flagging that you didn't receive the correct amount for you October Tremendous email.

I reviewed your BA activity to confirm you did earn 1,541 points in October. I've sent another Tremendous email your way for $146 to make sure you got all the rewards you earned.

Hi Jess, I didn’t receive any tremendous awards for October OR November. I’m missing $2,200… Not sure why others received but I didn’t. Thanks!

Hi Jess- thank you for updating us regarding issues with the bike angel payments from points redeemed in October. I also received an incorrect payment. Could you please review my BA points redemptions and make a correction. Thanks so much

While Lyft is fixing this mess, I read on reddit a dead angel who passed in April got a tremendous email, might as well pay the Bike Angels for November.

I finally received my October reward on Dec 3rd, but the payout had already expired by the time I tried to redeem it on the 5th. Customer service said they’d look into it. :/

Keep a close eye on your inbox, Angels. And please remember my $200 in your prayers this holiday season.

Jesscan hopefully explain the mess better. But, as we understand it, after a massive delay in processing the rewards. The Bike Angels team and Tremendous had another significant service failure and sent out the rewards due from October 2023 instead of October 2024. This has created further chaos as they try to claim back the money they erroneously gave out. They have yet to make the correct payments and are being entirely vague about when this will be done, simply saying they are “monitoring” the situation and that it will be resolved “as soon as possible”. If we needed any further proof that Lyft is degrading service levels at Citibike, we have it here. Don’t bother with customer service - they know nothing about this situation and are completely powerless to help. The only updates we’ve had have been from Jess and, as I previously mentioned, she is unable or not authorised to provide any real update with regard to a timeframe for resolution and compensation. It is an incredibly disappointing level of customer support and a stunning failure of service.

Update: Just got a reissued payment. Thank you Citi Bike, Lyft, Tremendous, and all involved.
