Heya Leslie!
Apologies as I did not mean to say that these issues do not happen at all. Obviously they do and it happened to bwitt here as well as to yourself. My main intention here was to explain that there was not an overall major technical issue here.
To your point of simply learning that it feels like a waste of time of reporting end of ride issues, we completely get how frustrating it is, especially with really active riders like our Bike Angels here that know how the system works, which is partially why we have this forum to ensure our most active users are heard.
For us to help out, we need to hear what is happening to you all. This isn't to convince you to go back to texting our Support team in the freezing cold, just that when technical bugs that effect a large part of our ridership do occur we receive multiple reports of the same issue with the exact same steps to replicate it regardless of a rider in New York or Chicago, etc.
To reiterate, I am not saying end of ride issues are not happening to other riders, just that different reasons will cause an end of ride issue. In bwitt's case it was a dock that didn't communicate for a bit and had to forcefully end the ride in app, for others in may not be the station but the docking triangle got a bit looser during the ride, for another an entire station is down, and so on. These are still issues, but not an overall single bug that is classified into one thing.
As for re-establishing streaks because of these issues that happen, we know the user pain for them. Right now we can't re-enable streaks but Support agents can provide the missing points from a streak. If they aren't, that is something I will flag with our internal teams.
