Yup! That is how it should work, where the map auto-refreshes! Looks like this is a confirmed bug and our software engineers are working on it!
I agree with mgai433 that the map wouldn’t seem to refresh automatically. I’d usually close the app and reopen every 15 minutes. It was happening for much of early July but the last week or so has been mostly back to normal.
I've been doing this for two years and the map has always refreshed automatically for me. I've watched it, waited until the quarter hour and saw the point values adjust. And I've never once restarted the app yet have never had an issue until last week. I agree that it's a good idea to do that NOW, but that is not how the app is designed and it's not how it has been functioning the entire time I've been doing this.
