Did you seek any input from Bike Angels regarding the proposed changes? I don’t recall being asked to provide feedback or input about the changes.
Absolutely not...nor do they even visit this community board on a regular basis. And...on those of us who happened to have seen a post on Facebook or Reddit are even aware that they are planning to make this change. It would be one thing if they grandfathered in the points we earned thus far, but that does not appear to be the case.
Will they be cashing in their paychecks for gift cards or charity? Clearly those who are managing the program are a bit naive as to how this will impact the program. There has already been a dramatic decrease in bike angel activity in just the first few days of the month by those who have consistently been at the top of the leaderboard. This is going to cost Lyft a lot more than they suspect, as they will now have to recruit employees to do the work and provide salaries, benefits, vehicles, gas, and the easy passes that will be necessary to pay the congestion pricing fees that just went into effect at midnight.
