How do I report bikes that have their QR codes removed?
This bike and the bike next to it have no QR code. Like, they look like they've been removed. I tapped the wrench icon, but it didn't seem to do anything. More generally, I'm just not sure how to report bike issues after docking. It seems like if I don't press the wrench icon within a minute of docking, or if I tap through the post ride feedback screens, pressing the wrench icon does nothing.32Views1like2CommentsNew to the program and biking in general
Hi! I first learned to ride a bike in middle school, but I forgot how to.😅I recently got back into biking and ran some errands while doing Angels runs (got 13 points 🎉). These were some of my first independent road biking trips, and I had so much fun : )Solved21Views1like2Commentsride history does not remember where you were
In the "Ride history" of the Android Bay Wheels app, if you click into a ride to see details, then use the "back" button or motion on the phone to go back to the list of rides, the list goes back to the top of the list rather than go back to where you were. This makes it very difficult when searching for a specific ride in your history. Can this be made to remember where you were? Thanks!10Views2likes0Commentsdocked bike but then was not docked?
I had a terrible experience today (3/14) with BayWheels and the Android app: I docked a bike at a station, the green light came on, and I heard the success sound. I did not check the app to confirm the ride had ended since everything seemed fine. I was walking to another station to take another bike, and I noticed on the app that the previous ride had not ended yet! so I puzzled over that and went back to the station, and the bike was docked and locked in the station. As I was going to engage support via the app, under ending a ride, I noticed a new button that said something like "end the ride," so I clicked it. That did end the ride, but charged me as if the ride had been going on that whole time (7 minutes) when the actual ride was only 2 minutes. And it ended my bike angles streak. When I clicked through to chat with support, they told me there was nothing they could do since they did not see any attempts to dock or end the ride, and the station was not reporting any issues. Is there any chance of getting credited for those 5 minutes? This was a terrible experience, and I guess the lesson is do not use that button that says "end ride". Instead, you should contact support.Solved106Views1like13Commentsstarting a ride within 10s of 15mins adjustment
I've noticed if I start a ride within (approx) 10s of the "every 15 mins adjustment" of the points, I don't get the indicated points for the ride if the station switches from positive to neutral on that next adjustment. Baywheels Android app. For instance: check out a bike at a positive points station within 10s of the adjustment notice during the ride the app still shows the starting station as being positive end ride and neutral station, notice I did not get points for the ride notice the start station switched to neutral. I need to screenshot this the next time it happens. Anyone else notice this? Is this limited to Baywheels and or android app?Solved54Views0likes2Comments
