Banked Points with Membership Expiry

Hi there

 

With the new rewards system in place, do points expire if my citibike membership expires? 

 

If no, can I use the points to buy a membership?

    They shouldn't expire, but you can't access any bike angels features (including the points bank) unless you have an active membership, so you should make sure you keep extending your membership using saved up points in your bank month even if you are away for a bit.
