How do I report bikes that have their QR codes removed?

    The way I've been doing it is

    • Check it out (via the number there in your pic)
    • ride it
    • Then wrench it after the ride

    I don't think you can report it otherwise. The wrench button only works for a short time after docking, as you mentioned.  

    Separate topic: the short wrench period.  I often remember too late to hit the wrench!

    Alternatively, dont ride it; check it out and dock it immediately.  Then wrench will work.

      In New York I use my key for this because it's quicker and easier than typing in a number. If you've linked your Clipper card you should be able to achieve the same thing with a Clipper card.

      thanks for the suggestions everyone! Another thing I've noticed is that docking at the origin station shortly after starting a ride and reporting an issue seems to not break streaks. I haven't been able to find exact guidelines for this though i.e. how long that buffer period is, if it needs to be the station you started at or if any station is fine

        Returning a bike to the start station doesn't change your streak no matter how long your ride was, but this rule doesn't apply to nearby stations. The reasoning behind this was that we didn't want to penalize riders if they happen to run into a bad bike.
