You're not alone--the metal key is a highly coveted reward from a collab we did in past years. Although I understand how much of a bummer this is to learn, the metal version of the key is not available as part of the currentBike Angels Lifetime Achievement rewards. I hope you'll return to the community to connect with other Angels in the future. 😊 Re: Idea: Always Offer Low-assist option for eBikes (next-gen) Thank you for chiming in to share your perspective 👼 This sounds really frustrating when time is of the essence. I shared this post with the BA team when it was posted, and I'll continue monitoring this post for more feedback about low assist mode. Re: Collection Complete ! Hi there, cbrownpartnersthanks for visiting the community—we definitely want to make sure you get all your Angel rewards! Looking at our records, it appears these rewards were not claimed with the form in the email that notifies you that you've earned a reward. Can you please send me your current shipping address? I'll make certain that your rewards are orders ASAP. 😊 August Cruiseletter Rolling Onward 🌆🚴 As the riding season is reaching its peak, things are heating up in the community Community discussions increased 47% this July compared with last year, and threads are richer and more complex Posts are more reliably answered and quickly—conversations in July were replied to within 20.6 hours Community Tune Up 👼💪 Did you know you can add more than one tag to a post? Tags help locate content within a theme, and can help the Bike Angels Team to find helpful information and feedback from community posts. We use tags to add context to posts for different bikeshare systems. Adding a second or third tag can help members categorize content at a glance. When using tags, always defer to the closest suggested tag if one already exists. RedDragon's reply is pretty spot on here. This issue was raised by RickyDee in our AMA, and I looked into it. Riders with extremely high ride counts are experiencing issues seeing this load. I know that isn't expected, since it's measuring stations visited, not rides. I'm sorry that this issue is disproportionately affecting Power Angels and Bike Angels, since they have higher ride counts than the average rider. I know that's a pain, since you'd like to track your activity more than the average rider, too. Re: IDEA - incentive for moving eBikes Hi, KingNerd1thanks for posting this idea in the community. I'm interested to hear other member's opinions, and I've marked this tag as feedback so we can track this over time. My gut check is that it'd be hard to justify making other bikes unavailable to rebalance ebike supply, but I like the idea of finding ways of incentivizing ebike movements to help make them more consistently available where riders want them. I like your creative approach to this, and I hope other Angels chime in with their thoughts/ideas, as well. 😇 Re: Improve the Citi Bike Map Hi, RedDragonthank you for this post about opportunities to improve the mapping and directions/destination selection. This is super insightful, and I see other Angels agree with your thoughts on this. I shared this post with the Bike Angels Team yesterday to spark some conversations based directly on your feedback. Keep the feedback coming, and I'll keep plugging it in with our teams. 😊 I can't promise immediate results, but the more feedback we get the better we know what needs the most attention. Re: Algo limitations downtown Hi there, KingNerd1, thanks for posting in the community! Glad to hear you’re enjoying the Bike Angels game. I appreciate the feedback you’ve provided here, and I shared it internally for good measure. You’re correct that, generally, there will be regions or areas on the map that offer similar points. As you've seen, the points on a station mean either 'we'd like bikes picked up' or 'we'd like bikes dropped off'. What you're noticing is that some areas get too many (or too few!) bikes at certain times, which means that all the stations need bikes picked up (or dropped off). The system is expansive and the need to redistribute bikes across the city is significant, especially in relation to commuting. The challenge of rebalancing the system is a complex one that can be hard to predict. That said, we’re always looking for ways to optimize the system and the Bike Angels program, and community feedback can be super useful in identifying and validating more complex issues. I hope you’ll return to the community in the future to share your experiences as you continue your Bike Angels journey! Re: JULY REWARDS will there be a delay of payment like last month Update: all Tremendous emails were delivered on 8/21. Thank you for posting in the community to create a thread for other Angels that might be looking for information about rewards timing. I apologize that Tremendous emails for July’s rewards are later than usual. While I can’t provide an exact date you can expect the email, I can assure you that your rewards will arrive as soon as possible. We understand the importance of receiving your rewards in a timely manner, and I want you to know we’re working internally to improve the cash rewards fulfillment process in an effort to avoid any future delays during peak season/in the future. Re: App map says ride is positive. But docking terminates streak. Reviewing these rides in our system a little further, I see that I initally read these rides as neutral, but in fact they were non-point earning rides. The ride on 8/3 @ 10:05 was a negative-to-negative ride, and the ride on 8/7 @ 8pm was a positive to positive ride. Hopefully the timing was a factor here since both rides occur sorta near the time interval changes. Let us know if you have other questions.
