1500 Point Key Now Plastic?
When I joined Bike Angels several years back the reward for 1500 points was a nice metal Citibike key. So I finally hit 1500 and received a cheap plastic one similar to my original one. Very disappointing! Achieving the metal one is like getting a fancy metal credit card that makes you feel special for your achievement. Bring back a metal key please! Thanks!59Views1like3CommentsCollection Complete !
Welp. This completes the collection for now (I think). It's been a fun ride and a great journey. I will continue to utilize Citi Bike for my daily commutes and look forward to any upcoming rewards down the line, the system sure has come a long way. Thank you to much to Jess and team for being so persistent and making sure I got all my rewards in. See everyone out there!244Views10likes5CommentsAutomatic redemptions
I have a question/complaint about some recent activity in the app. Three times in the last week, the app has redeemed points from my points bank which I did not initiate. The attached pic shows the recent items. On 6/9, 6/12 and today, 6/14, redemptions were made for Lyft credit and e-bike credit which were done without any actions on my part. I’ve now lost 40 points this week and I neither requested nor want these credits. Can I expect to lose points every few days now for credits I don’t want? How can this be stopped or blocked? On a somewhat comical note, the items are shown as “gifts” from CitiBike. Since I was forced to pay for these items they are in no way gifts.348Views2likes23CommentsDelay getting rewards
Hi, I joined about 2 months ago and now reached 1500 points. I filled the forms to claim my rewards but I have yet to receive anything. How long does it typically takes to get them? There is no way to check that the requests have been received either. I would really like the key fob to unlock bikes without using my phone... Thanks!Solved75Views1like1CommentBike Angels Membership Extension issue
I use the Bike Angels regard program and it's helpful when you get a membership extension of one week for every 20 points you redeem, and understandably you can only extend four weeks each month. That is until about one week ago, I redeemed 20 points to extend the membership from 1/9/24 to 1/16/24. On 1/9/24, CitiBike app showed that my membership expired and payment failed. So on 1/9 I called to discuss this w customer service and said they would look into it and email me. By 1/11, I did not hear back so I called to follow up with Cust service, They said they would look into it and the guy found it odd that I had not been updated sooner. So then I get an email mentioned: Due to a system issue, your Bike Angel Membership may not be reflecting the correct extension date. We have fixed this issue and your app should reflect the correct date within the next 3-4 days as everything refreshes. Please let our team know if you need assistance or have questions. We're standing by, ready to help. Thanks for riding with us. So it's now 1/13 and the correct membership extension until 1/16/24 still is not showing. In the meantime due to this "glitch" I cannot ride a bike!,v unless I renew my membership now, I will not since it should expire on 1/16. I feel I've been robbed several days of my membership benefits. Will Citibike add the additional days to my membership that I could not due to having to wait for them to refresh their systems?Solved354Views2likes5Comments
