How do I get a metal key?
From 2018 - 2020, the highest Bike Angels reward was the steel bike key created by Tomorrow Labs and created for Citi Bike. When the Bike Angels program was updated in 2021, Lifetime Rewards were expanded to include the Hustlin’ Hero and Power Angels tiers and a new Bike Angels branded key was introduced. We no longer have stock of the steel or gold metal Citi Bike bike keys. Bank your points and choose your rewards—points won’t expire or reset each month. Wait no more! The new redemption structure is here, and all Citi Bike Bike Angels will now manually redeem rewards in their app. With 42k active Angels in New York alone, Bike Angels are a diverse group. Angels ride for a variety of reasons, and different rewards appeal to different Angels. In response to feedback from Angels who told us they wanted more control over the rewards they earn, we’ve updated the way Angels get rewards. Monthly rewards won’t automatically be redeemed. Instead, your points will be added to your points bank indefinitely and won’t expire. You’ll use points from your points bank to redeem the rewards you want. This change came with a refreshed Bike Angels profile! Use your points to shop for rewards in the Bike Angels profile of your app by clicking one of the rewards under ‘Bike Angels Rewards’ to reveal the option to purchase. FAQ Q: When do the points reset? A: With the points bank, your points total won’t reset each month. You can bank your points and redeem the prizes you prefer on your own schedule. Does my Joy Rider perk automatically apply? Yes! After you reach 200 points, you’ll automatically receive 60-minute unlocks on classic bikes. How do I use my credits? Credits earned with Bike Angels will automatically apply to eligible rides. How do I use my guest passes? Unlock a bike for a friend with five free guest unlocks per year. Tap the Ride together icon in your app to get started. How do I track membership extensions? Membership extensions add a week to your membership. If you redeem four membership extensions in the same month, we’ll extend your membership for 30 days. Track your membership extensions in the Bike Angels profile in your app by clicking ‘View my rewards’ How do I redeem digital rewards? I reached lifetime level of 500 in August and filled out the form immediately to receive my water bottle and badge. It’s now three months (and ten phone calls) later. I’ve gotten lots of apologies but no gift. If you’re not really going to send it, don’t advertise it.

Welp. This completes the collection for now (I think). It's been a fun ride and a great journey. I will continue to utilize Citi Bike for my daily commutes and look forward to any upcoming rewards down the line, the system sure has come a long way. Thank you to much to Jess and team for being so persistent and making sure I got all my rewards in. See everyone out there!
Lifetime Rewards - delays again???
I earned the Hustlin' Hero award on June 1 ... nothing received so far. Emailed Lyft on August 6, usual cut-and paste message "You should receive your replacement reward(s) within 3-6 business weeks!" yada yada yada ... still nothing received so far. Use points from your points bank to redeem digital rewards in your app. Visit the Bike Angels Profile, and click the blue icon for the reward you want. You’ll see an order screen with the option to adjust the order quantity of the reward and the option to review your points before you confirm the order. How can I see my rewards? Click ‘View your rewards’ in the Bike Angels profile to reveal details about your current rewards, like credit balances and membership expiration.
