Update the app SEE NEW ANGELS PROGRAM

The numbers are pretty similar.

    Hey jm and Leslie52. Thanks for sharing your questions and feedback in the community! While the Community was launched with a focus on Citi Bike, Bike Angels from all regions are welcome. As the Community continues to grow, we’re looking forward to having more input from Bike Angels in all participating regions! All of our participating Bike Angels regions are listed in the FAQ. 

     

    Rewards vary depending on the Bike Angels program in that region, and currently cash/e-gift cards are only available in Boston and New York. Once redeemed, you’ll receive your Tremendous email no later than the 10th of the following month. Head to our website, here, to view a breakdown of Divvy specific rewards. Once you surpass 10 points, you’ll be able to redeem your points for available rewards in the Bike Angels profile under ‘Bike Angels rewards’ by tapping on the blue box of the reward you’re interested in. As a heads up, Bike Angels ride credits do not expire. You can check out more info about Bike Angels ride credits in this thread.

     

    Since your points are now stored in the points bank, they won’t reset at the top of each month. Instead of rewards being sent automatically, we wanted to place more power in the hands of our Bike Angels and give you the freedom to choose which rewards you’d like to receive!     I think it is different in NYC...guess we should mention where we are located when we post on here because what applies in one region is unlikely to be true in another.

    We lost the Brown Basket Award, 10 eBike minutes outright.

     

    You can still buy the 10 eBike mins for 10 pts, but it reduces your point bank money to buy the 80pts, 4 week, membership extension  

     

    10pts for 1.50$ Lyft credits is the same .15 cents/point you'd get up to 200pts.

     

    The 150pts for 30$ is 2 cents/point which is the same as the 33% bonus.

     

    As far as I can see, it's the same program with one big improvement...

     

    We can finally see our total Lyft Credit Balance.

     

    Do the Lyft credits expire?

    If so, when?

     

    People are saying yes, but I still have a 200$ Lyft Credit Balance and haven't been riding since November.

    Reading through previous posts, it looks like this "New" Bike Angels points/purchase

    system has already rolled out in NYC at least 1 month ago  

     

    We just got it today in Chicago.

     

    Is there a forum like this one for Chicago Bike Angels?

        Leslie, thanks for posting.

         

        In Chicago, starting yesterday, June 3, with an app upgrade, the new points system for our Divvy Angels works on Android. Not sure about iPhone.

         

        But... we cannot exchange points for cash money. Only Lyft credits, eBikes, and membership   

         

        Too bad.
