Who is in the Right, Citibike Employee or Me??
The other day I was on my way to do some errands when I saw a great point opportunity in the Manhattan area. The drop of spot was a major hub that needed bikes for after work riders, so was awarding 12 points. So I went out of my way and dropped my bike off there scoring a good point combo. After docking I saw they were still awarding 12 points for drop off. A quarter mile away, a station was awarding high points to pick up. It was a nice night so I decided to do the combo to get some great points. When I got back to the major CB hub, I docked the bike. All of a sudden an irate Citibike employee working as a concierge came up to me and said if I continued to do BikeAngels there he was going to suspend my BikeAngels membership. I was taken back, since this is the first time in 5ish years doing BA, that a concierge ever approached me like this, they have always been thankful for the help. The employee then went on to say that there were other BikeAngels dropping off bikes making his job hard. I said that I was only going by the points posted and though I was helping. He continued to get nasty, and I told him to take it up with Citibike if the point system is not reflecting a true supply/demand disruption that needs correction. Plus I told him he could have just asked me nicely instead of approaching in a belligerent way, I was not trying to cause him extra work. I then did my errands. Anyway has this ever happened to others? Thanks!Gaffano11 days agoResourceful Rider233Views0likes11CommentsNo pickup points

Hi, I had enough points to get an e-gift card in September for the first time. We are the 19th of October and I haven’t received anything about it in my emails. Is it normal and I should wait a bit longer or I should contact the customer service to check what happens? Thanks!Seb520423 days agoResourceful Rider142Views0likes6CommentsBiketown PDX
I live in Portland Oregon and there is no pick up spots. The other day I took a bike from a location that had 10 extra bikes over filled and moved it to a empty station. It ended my streak and made me start over to gain points then charged me. Also I picked up a scooter that was abandoned took it to a station with no scooters it charged me for that also tried to report it and get a refund and the person told me that she couldn't help me. Has the whole bike angel program changed in Portland can you no longer move bike from over populated stations. Because the only way I get points is for picking up a bike from a bike that isn't at a station and droping it off at one.Solvedlimetime8830 days agoResourceful Rider52Views0likes5CommentsIs it worth it to move undocked CaBi e-bikes as a Bike Angel?
There are many e-bikes that are not docked at a station. If I got on one to move it to a station and collect points, would I still be charged the unlock fee and per minute? Trying to understand what the incentive is for bike angels to move undocked bikes to stations.Lanm30 days agoResourceful Rider58Views2likes3CommentsBiketown 15 minute point calculation broken
Hi. I have submitted a bug directly to Lyft, but I just got a generic "bike angel 101" reply. Anyway, points are correctly shown on the map after the calculation on top of the hour and 30 past the hour. Points are NOT shown after the 15 & 45 minute calculation. Its simple to verify, just look for stations&bike after 00 and 30, then compare with what you see after 15&45. I have of course deleted&re-installed the app, and rebooted my iOS device, same thing. It might have happened after the "next gen" e-bikes&scooters were introduced this summer, but I was away at that time so can't say for sure if its related or not. Please escalate.
