Never received bike key with membership, chat support is not useful
Hi, I started a CaBi membership in March of this year and recently became a bike angel. I never received my key that was noted as a perk of the membership I signed up for in March. I contacted support, and was told it will take another 4-6 weeks for my bike key to be delivered. Is this a common issue? I was looking forward to that membership perk but am now halfway into my yearly membership and am still waiting around for a key and the chat support is unhelpful.rebeccag2 days agoResourceful Rider15Views0likes0Commentstons of notifications in SF 8/14 and 8/15
Tons of (repeat) notifications on the Bay Wheels app on Android on 8/14 and 8/15, for upcoming events. I'm sure it'll stop now since the events are this weekend, but man, that was annoying. Every 10s or so, I'd get a little pop-up at the bottom of the screen, which grayed out the rest of the screen. I checked and was sure I was on the latest version of the app.bwitt10 days agoHustlin' Helper22Views0likes1CommentDo we have to rate every ride??
If I'm doing a bunch of short rides in a row to earn more Bike Angel points, it's annoying to be prompted to rate each ride before I can get back to the screen/map to start the next ride. Is there any way to bypass having to rate each ride? TIA718Stephanie12 days agoResourceful Rider272Views4likes21CommentsSecond 3x ride didn't count to reset the timer
Dear Bike Angels community, Yesterday I entered a 3x streak, took a bike home with 9 points, did another 6 point ride in the evening and was ready to get my last time in before the timer ends but the app showed "2 more rides to reset the timer" - is this expected, do the early 3x rides "expire" or something or is this a bug? In my ride history I see 3 rides with 3x points within the requested time limit, yet I'm back at 1x now. Thanks in advance for your help. On the "Ebike Pricing" page under "Pedal Assist Preference" https://help.baywheels.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048955492-Ebike-Pricing it says I can set my Pedal Assist Preference in the app by going to Profile > Bike key > Pedal assist preference. However, I do not see "Bike key" on the profile page. (Bay wheels, Android app). NOTE: I'm having trouble posting the link; when I submit this it says invalid htmlbwitt28 days agoHustlin' Helper45Views0likes9CommentsMissing Bike
I'll keep it short. About 2 weeks ago, I was angeling at night, took a bike out and docked it properly at a station, as usual. However, it did not register docked so I took a picture of the bike and station, reported it, and ended the ride so that I can continue. However late next day, citibike said that my bike was not docked properly and charged me for 24 hours. The bike# they said that I docked is not the same bike# in the picture I took. Now citibike is charging me total of $363 for missing bike. I tried to explain as Citibike Angels, there's no reason for me to take a bike, and not dock it properly, because that's how I make the points. I was wondering if anyone can direct me to someone at citibike that can help me out.Solved002 months agoResourceful Rider82Views2likes5CommentsPedal assist preference on ebike
In citibike help pages I see this info https://help.citibikenyc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039406631-Riding-with-an-ebike In instances where there are no classic bikes at a station, members can now rent one of our new, next-gen silver ebikes in “classic mode.” This means that you can rent this ebike for no extra charge, but there will be little to no e-assist for the ride. To make this choice, you’ll see a screen after scanning the QR code that allows you to choose between riding with full assist or riding with low assist. But in divvy (chicago) help pages, which otherwise looks pretty similar, it doesn't have that section https://help.divvybikes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046649911-Riding-with-an-ebike We have those same bikes as NYC, except they have a cable lock fitted for docking out of station. Is the low-cost ebike ride also possible in Chicago, riding with low assist? If so, how to select it? If not, why not?SolvedWim2 months agoSteady Solver184Views1like5Comments
